Tricks & FAQ
You can change your collections, so that they
behave differently from the default settings.
The changes will be visible on all computers (currently, settings
are saved in the Registry, and therefore apply only on the computer
where they were set).
Important: before
proceeding, make sure you are familiar with INI files!
Also, make a backup before making any changes.

11) Replace MP3s with links
(if song repeats in collection)
Sometimes one or
more tracks repeats more than once in a collection.
In this case you might want to have only one copy of the MP3.
You can achieve this by using links instead of the repeating
MP3s.
Suppose this MP3
repeats twice: Album01\Track02.mp3, and Album05\Track10.mp3.
- Leave only one copy of the track (let's suppose you leave
"Album01\Track02.mp3").
- Create a text file "Track10.txt" in Album05, and
write the following line in it:
"<Collection>\Album01\Track02.mp3"
(without quotes).
Note: there are
two other possibilities to link to MP3s:
- <DriveRoot>\Dir1\Dir2\...\DirN\Somefile.mp3 <-- path
relative to the drive root
- C:\Dir1\Dir2\...\DirN\SomeFile.mp3 <-- absolute path
